Central Intermediate Library

I do believe something very magical can happen when you read a good book.  ~ J.K. Rowling

Hours of Operation

The library is open Monday-Friday during your child's assigned times.  Students may check out books, take AR tests, read quietly, participate in makerspace and writing activities. Students may return books at any time by placing them on the cart inside the library door.

Library Fines

We will not be charging overdue library fines at CIS; however, we ask students who are finished reading their books return them to the return box so the book will be available to other students.

Lost and Damaged Books

If a book is lost or damaged, the book must be paid for before the end of the school year.  Payment for a lost or damaged book is reimbursed should the book be found and returned in good condition. Debts remaining at the end of the school year may be turned in to the office and become a part of the student’s permanent file. Any items checked out at the time a student withdraws from school must be returned and paid for upon withdrawal. Students will not be given schedules at orientation if they still owe money to Central Intermediate School.
